US stocks rose across the board, the Dow rose nearly 400 points, and Alibaba opened nearly 5% higher.

US stocks rose across the board on Monday, the Dow opened 1.5% higher, up nearly 400 points, the S&P 500 index rose 1.5%, and the Nasdaq index opened 2.1% higher.

Automotive stocks were higher and GM rose 3%. China's stocks also rose sharply, Alibaba opened nearly 5% higher, and iQiyi rose more than 8%.

Asian market carnival
